Magnetic topological insulators - towards higher transition temperature

Abstract:

Ferromagnetic order in topological insulators is essential to observe quantum anomalous Hall effect
and several unique effects. We will show recent progress towards higher transition temperature in MnSb2Te4
thin films. This material has a transition temperature of about 50 K in contrary to the previously observed
transition temperature of 10 K in Bi2MnTe4.
