Problems from relativity theory

In year 2001/2002 I was involved in teaching lecture ``Exercises from theoretical physics" held at the Faculty of science MU. Here you can find some of the problems from relativity theory, which must have been solved by students visiting the lecture. All the files are available in standard .ps format.

  1. Problems no. 1 (Twin paradox, parallel and Fermi-Walker transport, geodesics, homogeneous and FRW universes)

  2. Problems no. 2 (Curvature and Bianchi identity, variational approach and electrodynamics, relativistic hydrodynamics)

  3. Problems no. 3 (Fibre bundles, vertical fields, connection on fibre bundles, Cartan calculus, Schwarzchild solution)

  4. Problems no. 4 (Schwarzschild geometry, singularities, tidal forces, radial null geodesics, isotropic form, spacetime diagrams)

Advanced quantum mechanics
  1. Problems no. 1 (Operators and the time evolution)
