• 2001-8 Doctoral study Astronomical Institute, Charles University in Prague, Ph.D.
• since 2005 Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, Brno
• 2013 - Associate Professor at MU

A bit of history

Our family clan comes from a small village named Nova Ves about 6 km northwest from Třebíč (65 km from Brno). The village was build in the 12th century in the place of fired village Dobrkovice. Zejda's, specifically Matous Zejda, have been mentioned for the first time in an official book in 1654. The farmhouse No. 18 belonged to our family till 1951, when we were expelled by communists. We can come back only after 20 years and we (my parents) live there until they died.
