Observation of magnetic properties of Lanthanum Cobaltites by ellipsometry measurements

I will talk about the progress that we have made both experimentally and theoretically since the last seminar. I will talk about the magnetic properties of lanthanum cobaltite thin films and the effects of doping them with strontium. We will look at the ellipsometry measurements on these films and the contrast between the experimental evidence and the theoretical expectations will be outlined.
