In his talk, he will show you how the demands of the Czech industry on enabling thin films have changed in the past and the present and where the challenges lie in the future. He will talk about nanocomposites providing superhardness, nanolaminates allowing us to make coatings that are hard and ductile at the same time and high entropy coatings with limitless possibilities for energy storage and conversion in the future.
