Jana Jurmanová: The villains of the microverse - searching with an electron microscope

The lecture will be devoted to the physical basics of electron microscopy and its use in teaching physics. Of course, there will be villains of all kinds, from the microscopic ones to the largest, macroscopic ones.

163. The Physics Café is special as part of the Days of Electron Microscopy 2024 event, organized by the Brno Observatory and Planetarium and their partners. The CEPLANT centre, the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology together with the Botanical Garden are collaborating.

The lecture is scheduled on Thursday, March 21, at 5 p.m. in room F2 at Kotlářská. Traditionally, we will start with an introductory coffee, and the actual lecture will start at about 5.15 pm. At the same time, we will be streaming it online via MS Teams.
