Petr Vašina and Leila Zahedi at Plathinium 2025 conference
At the end of September, Prof. Petr Vašina and Leila Zahedi presented the research of the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology and the CEPLANT center at the Plathinium conference held in Antibes, France. Prof. Vašina spoke about measuring ionized particle fluxes during magnetron sputtering under laboratory and industrial conditions, and Leila Zahedi about enhancing the corrosion resistance of magnesium alloys with plasma treatment and electrospun polymer coatings. For her outstanding presentation, Leila Zahedi received the Michel Cantarel Student Grant award.
