7 Aug 2024 Collaboration with Şişecam Science, Technology and Design Center Richard Krumpolec established a new collaboration with Şişecam, one of the largest producer of flat glass in Europe. The scientists tested the potential of plasma surface treatment on bond strength behavior of an adhesively bonded glass-polymer interface directly at Şişecam Science, Technology, and Design Center.
1 Aug 2024 The research of antiferromagnets at Masaryk University can be a milestone in modern experimental condensed matter physics Physicists from Masaryk University observed the fluctuating behavior of magnetic moments, which was predicted by a theory from the sixties of the last century. They contributed to a hot debate in condensed matter physics. Their experiments were performed with samples fabricated in the scientific facility CEITEC Nano. They investigated the properties of these samples in a unique spectrometer at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland. They published the results of their research in the scientific journal Nature Communications.
30 Jul 2024 Collaboration with Tokyo Metropolitan University Dr. Peter Klein from CEPLANT and the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology traveled to Japan to conduct joint experiments focused on the diagnostics of HiPIMS processes together with Assoc. Prof. Tetsuhide Shimizu and his team at Tokyo Metropolitan University.
